Installed raspian and followed the directions here:

to install kodi. That worked but I'm using a VCR-1100 remote http://www.ortek.com/html/program/produc...144331.jpg and the down volume button isn't working, which as you can imagine is really annoying.
I tried dpkg-reconfigure lirc but that returns without presenting a menu to select the type of remote. In fact LIRC wasn't even installed at first.
Here is /home/kodi/.kodi/kodi.log: http://paste.debian.net/160572/ non-debug enabled in kodi (which I can enable and repost).
Anyone else having this problem?
