Another option we haven't really mentioned is VGA->Componenent converters. If you have a PC with a VGA 15pin output you can get converters that will matrix this to YPrPb and handle the syncs for a reasonable cost I think.

Assuming your VGA output will generate the resolutions you need, this could also be a solution. I don't think you will get 50Hz or 24Hz output on most VGA set-ups, but if 60Hz is all you need, that might work for you?
