So I'm pretty new to kodi and have little experience with it, therefore I am unable to debug it myself.


Anyway, unfortunately I can't re-create the steps leading to the problem accurately since I was not the one using it at the time.


I'll go by my sister's description:

Apparently she was watching a movie on the 1channel plugin (from promptfile, she showed me which one she picked) when it kept closing the video. As i understand the video kept crashing but Kodi itself remains responsive.


I looked up debugging steps and came across info on the log file so I'm linking a pastebin with the log text: http://pastebin.com/1TrvVMNc[1]


I've tried other videos (all from 1channel, but different sources) and all actually crashed at some point.


TLDR: Kodi videos crash at seemingly random times.

Hold on, I didn't know 1 channel was "banned". can you please explain to my why it's against the rules? is it unsafe or illegal?

EDIT: took a better look at the linked page, Now that I think about it the add on 1channel could be providing pirated content. I found it while looking for Netflix alternatives on Google, someone had suggested xbmc with super repo.

On another note, do you have any alternatives to 1channel that are legal? If so could you please direct me to them?
