Hi,
I'm looking for some help to clarify if what i propose to do will work - I'm a bit of a novice and find the information about live tv setup a little confusing.
Here is my intended plan (I'm in the UK);
Connect my sky/satellite dish to a network tv tuner something like THIS
Use my Mac Mini (my current HTPC) as the PVR Backend
Watch live free sat on all TV's around the house via xbmc on AFTV & AFTV Sticks
What i'm trying to determine is:
1. Will this work,
2. Am I missing anything,
3. Am i going overboard - i.e is there any cheaper/simpler options to obtain the same result
4. Will this also allow recording via the xbmc pvr function
