I have been running Ubuntu 14.10 for 2 weeks now and Kodi 14.1 has been stable.

Today I ran the Ubuntu Update Manager and installed system updates.

Now all Kodi videos do start, but the display is Blank except for the Kodi Paused Box in the upper right corner.

Audio is fine, it plays normal, but again Video is not being displayed.

I cannot interact with Kodi at all, either with my keyboard or my Android Yatse Remote.

I restored my Ubuntu OS using a System Backup I ran 1 week ago and Kodi Videos are back to normal.

I posted this on the Ubuntu forum as well.
