Hifiberry openelec 5.0.6 - not working

Hi,

i have done all whats written here : https://www.hifiberry.com/guides/openele...iguration/
and i dont know what to do next, because it is still not producing any sounds via digi hifiberry..
Should i enable it somewhere or i did something wrong ?

when i do ssh via putty “aplay -l”

OpenELEC (official) Version: 5.0.6
OpenELEC:~ # aplay -l
aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found…
OpenELEC:~ #

but i dont know if i should reset settings before trying newer tutorial ?

anyway i did this

i log via ssh to raspberry pi 2
cmd lines:

root (enter)
openelec (enter)

mount -o remount,rw /flash (enter)

nano config.txt (enter)

dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi
dtdebug=1

ctrl+x
y (enter)
reboot (enter)

is it correct ??

The OP needs to be clear if he's using a Pi1 or Pi2, as OpenELEC 5.0.6 doesn't include device tree support for Pi1, but it does for Pi2.

The instructions the OP has followed will apply only to the Pi1, and not the Pi2 (the instructions from @neyoneit should be used for a Pi2).

i actualy mentioned that i am using pi2, but i wasnt sure if i did everything ok, because it didnt work at all.. thats why i am asking for help .
and i dont know what "OP" means.. ?

Actually, no you didn't - had you done so we could have told you those instructions don't apply to your device.

I have the same story and did exactly as described here. I do not get it working.

I have. Pi 2 with Hi Berry Digi +
