Is it possible to have more 1st level categories, like Movies, TV Shows ?

Anime SD, Movies SD, Anime HD, Movies HD, Series.

Or to display by source ?

Take a look at filters, (under the list) all you ask can be done and more

It's to complex atm to add custom tabs. But we are working on a "Filter Manager" to create own filter settings and (maybe) custom lists based on these filters.
