I have been using Kodi 14.0 on Windows 8.1 and really enjoying it . I got a notice that an upgrade is available via tvaddons.ag/update-kodi but when I go there it is asking me to install Kodi

My question : to go to 14.2 , can I update or do I have to reinstall 14.2 from scratch and will it preserve all my repositories and etc .

If I can update could some one please provide steps

You can install on top of your existing installation but it's always recommended to back up your current installation.
