No Idea, but shuldnt this work?

did try it both ways as Skin.String" and as showd above.


EDIT:
Did try to show the Path in a Multiimage -> No Prolems
Did chanche the content to "Albums" -> No Problems

By Visiting the Wiki i could read:

can be setup by the skinner with dynamic content from a path or plugin

So from my Understanding it shuld work, Shuldnt it?

It seems that it isn't working with smb:// paths.
Local directories are working without any issues. So I guess it's a bug.

This won't ever work. You have to write an addon, which gathers images from a website (like a scraper)
Each website and code is different.

smb:// is a network protocol to address shared folders from a NAS for example
