Video driver xbmcbuntu Kodi opengl rendering Intel q965/q963

Hello,

After installing xbmcbuntu Kodi onto a PC hard drive with the latest packages download, the logon is broken.

While booting and trying to logon to Kodi there is a popup message that prevents login. The pop-up message is truncated from the left side of the video display and the entire error message can't be read.

The error message displays something about requiring opengl rendering and an appropriate graphics driver.

The video graphics card chipset is Intel Q965/Q963.

I read somewhere that some legacy drivers have been omitted from upgrade packages.

Kodi can be run from the same computer ok when using the trial/demo version installed on a USB stick.

What are the commands to install the appropriate graphics drivers? Should I install without downloading updates or install Ubuntu separately from Kodi using the Ubuntu installer?
