Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm trying to install kodibuntu and it installs fine. I can log into kodi no problem. But I can not switch to desktop mode.

I exit kodi and have what looks like a log in screen. I select other on the drop down list proceed to put my user name and password but it states invalid password. If I select my username and do the same it boots up kodi again.

How do I log into normal Ubuntu desktop. Thanks.

you have to first enter your username and password, _then_ select the desktop session, and finally click login

to confirm, I enter user name and password then select "other" on the drop down, then select log in? I'll try this tonight
