Has anyone tried to run simultaneous audio from the FireTV over both HDMI and TOSlink? I want to take the Toslink output and convert it to RCA analog to use with my receiver's Zone 2/3 input.

Boy, I hope someone comes back with a positive response. Do you have a TOSlink to analog converter?

Not yet, but they are about 10-11 dollars. Seems like a good alternative to constantly patching Windows builds with the dual audio output patch.

I bought a convertor. Good news! It works! There's no sync issues either. Looks like my Windows HTPC has just become a dedicated gaming box, I will be using an Amazon Fire from now on.
