I have downloaded and installed Kodi.

I want to add LiveTV channels to it....

I have a list that goes something like:
#EXTINF:0, Channel 4
http://xxxxxxxx <- where xxxxxxx is the link.

How do I add that to the player?

Do you have the necessary TV Capture card installed? or are you attempting to view the channel via one of the many dubious add-on' sites which offer free access to dubious source material - I appreciate Channel 4 is probably viewable in someway, hence my question regarding a TV capture card.

Kodi does not provide content of any description, it is primarily intended as a playback medium for locally stored and legally owned material (blu-ray's DVD's etc).

What is your source?

WOW, OK.

I did not know that.

I am about to buy an android tv box which claims to have XBMC.
When I looked it up it says it runs on windows too. So I wanted to check it out and see if it is worth it.

Now, your input brings me to a new question:
Do I need anything extra to run it on windows?
