Hello there fellow, kodieans? no? okay.
This is my first post in the kodi forums, and I was led here after searching throughout google and coming empty handed on a solution to my problem.
I set up a spare computer with kodi for my two sons. bought a mce remote, adjusted everything I felt needed to be set, add-ons, etc...
My problem is that I want kodi to be a bit more clean for my kids.
I'll explain;
in the main menu, you have,
video
tv
settings
(i removed the other ones through the settings)
the settings is now pin coded, so they won't tinker.
My problem is, when you go into 'video', you are presented with
files (these are from my harddrive)
add ons
etc...
I want the only thing to be shown within 'videos' to be 'files'
remove the 'add-on' or hide it from there, so its more clean.
alternatively it would be nice if when i clicked the video, the files would just load.
I can live with either option,
a- videos -> files
or
b- videos -> (all file folders are shown)
in any case i want to get rid of the 'video add ons' option within videos.
can you guys point me in the right direction, or has this been done before... thanks
