Hi guys,

I was using Kodi under Linux Mint so updating process is very effective and easy but recently I forced to use Kodi under Windows 8.1 so I wonder:

How can I update Kodi to recent release (Is there any updater similar to Firefox)?

NOTE: I'm using portable Kodi (using -p switch) so updating it using usual setup isn't option.for me.

You havent posted a lot of information about your setup, if you are transferring your library, etc..... so I recommend that you start on the Wiki

I also use portable mode, and upgrading was not a problem.

I don't think it needs more info. My question is very basic and simple; I want to update Kodi (the application) to recent release nothing else.

In that case download and install over current installation, nothing really more needs to be done. I don't use in portable mode, so not sure whether there is anything other than just overwriting the present install, but I doubt it.
