Hi

A few months back I installed (a older version of) the youtube addon and a few other addons. I did this by downloading the zipped addon files and by extracting it to the addons folder.

However I noticed that these addons do not get auto updated even if there is a new version available. Am I missing something ?

IIRC, you have to download through a repository first for it to auto update afterwards, I believe.....

Thanks for the info. I think you are correct. Any idea how the auto update actually works ?
