I just installed this and got it working. One thing I did notice is that for my 5.1 system the sound seems a bit...soft...like bass does not hit as hard when watching a movie. I have JRiver and compared the two watching the hulkbuster seen in the Avengers Age of Ultron. JR definitely hits the low end on my dual sub system. When using dsplayer the bass just doesn't seem to hit as hard. Any ideas what could be causing that?

Hi, I am new to this forum and on it because I finally decided to use Kodi with DSPlayer. I have previously been using madVR + LAV + MPC-HC , but moved to Kodi because how well it helps library the movies and in this form, allows madVR. Probably expected, I have some starting hick ups.

I am on a MacBook Pro with Bootcamp and Windows 10 installed. I use this as a HTPC, so its connected to my Cambridge Audio CXR200, which is further connected through ARC to the LG OLED B6. The problem here is that when the image is thrown to the B6, it appears massively zoomed. I thougth it might be an issue with exclusive window checked but not so. There is no issue with the same combination on MPC-HC. Need suggestions to correct this.

Thank you.

Are you bitstreaming? Volume can't be adjusted when bitstreaming with ReClock.

This is not possible if bitstreaming. All of the decoding is done by your receiver.

Make sure the audio renderer is set to WASAPI exclusive.

Did you enable something in zoom control (black bar detection) from DSPlayer?

Also, Load from madVR active profile should be selected.

No I haven't. Also its loaded from madVR active profile. However I figured the issue. When native resolution of the TV or Laptop monitor is chosen, it seems zoomed for a 1080p film. Hence in GPU settings, 1080p resolution has to be selected. Mostly it happens auto but in this case it did not.

However, I have a new issue and its with sound. Reclock is out, as it does not allow any sound through bitstream. In fact, there's no sound till its installed so it had to be thrown out of the system. For audio renderer, I chose CXR200 Nvidia output, and it sent out sound but distorted. So in in MPC-HC I checked enable audio switcher and the sound became fine. But in Kodi, there's no such feature. ANy work around.

Try Sanear.

Install and choose as audio renderer from DSPlayer. To configure, play a video and access the Sanear tray icon. Set the tray icon to WASAPI exclusive. Bitstream and you should be good to go.

Try it out and see if it meets your needs. The only issue I have seen is that after I play one show / movie, I lose GUI audio. If I try to start another show, also no audio (receiver says "No stream") I am looking into what might be happening. I don't believe it has anything to do with my changes, but you never know...

Try to disable automatic frame rate switch, it should fix the audio issue.
I got mad trying to make it work on a Minix Z83-4, without luck. Are you using a z8300 chipset, too?

I'm a long time DSPlayer user, but I stuck at Jarvis 16.1
What is the added value to change to Krypton?
