THIS FOR THOSE WHO DONT CARE TO HAVE A STAND ALONE XBMC APPLE TV 1.....

hello ..

ok...so i have a apple tv1 and heard it is the best by far to use in terms of features.....ok so i have the latest for it 3.0.2....and so i tried doing this http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_XBM...nal_ATV_OS ...only when i go to "DOWNLOADS" it says on my apple tv 1 that it doesnt exist..ok ..good ..after all it is old..and newer solutions are available (linux).

Now,i dont care to have xbmc the only stand alone os function on a apple tv 1.,.. i wanna also have rowmote,couch,pandora,and tons of other features that atv2 have....but it seems like everytime i google to install xbmc i only come across this linux install and crystal something and also ELEC..or whatever it is.....and the only option (http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_XBM...nal_ATV_OS) doesnt work....cause link is down...

So in short my question is the following....

How Can I install XBMC v11 (which to my knowledge is the last working XBMC on atv1) on apple tv 1 manually...meaning thru ssh terminal?
i have googled for a full day and found nothing....i did manage to install nitotv...but for somereason it doesnt give me the option to install XBMC like it did on atv2.
i did manage to do the "USB CREATOR" but when i go to downloads nothing shows up....
please someone help please point me in the right direction ........

this will also help old or new atv1 users who would also want a atv1 with XBMC and other features....not only xbmc...

You have two current options, all the rest you are looking at are outdated with broken links.

1) Crystalbuntu - website currently down and very unlikely to come back.
2) OpenElec - will allow you to install Gotham 13.2 only.

The ATV1 has 256MB of RAM. Loads it up with loads of extras and plugins and it will not perform very well.
