Using Shednox 4, openelec, Helix.

When opening a movie menu, what dictates when a trailer plays?
For instance, next to PLAY, there is either TRAILER or SEARCH FOR TRAILER. Sometimes, when I click TRAILER, nothing happens. I assume it's how it was scraped, and only happens to a few new ones. I use Ember to scrape. Any ideas how to get this rolling?

Are they local trailers?

I have no local trailers saved.

Does .nfo contain trailer tags or link?

i.e.

<trailer>plugin://plugin.video.youtube/?action=play_video&amp;videoid=xxxxxxxxxxx</trailer>

Maybe some do. If so, would that be why TRAILER shows? Only some have it...and only some of those actually work.

Yes, without a location to retrieve trailer from it won't play. Does ember have an option for including trailer links when scraping

Is link still valid for those locations?
If youtube, etc, it may have been moved or deleted/video became private, etc.

As work around depending on how much storage space you have you could download the trailer if scraper has the option to. (I know media companion lets you do this during a scrape in preferences)
