Hey,
I've been trying for some days to use VLC to stream my webcam on my laptop to Kodi on my raspberry pi and I couldnt get it working.

Does anyone knows how to do that or maybe any addon/way to stream from some webcam to kodi?

What is not working:

To be honest I've never used VLC so I'm kinda lost, I'm using windows 8.1.
I'll try to set up and play it like you said.
