Maybe someone smarter than I and who has a little bit of free time could make a weather add-on using NOAA weather data.... Heres some links explaining their protocol.

Yep.

It's pretty amusing to watch the various channels slog it out of who has better weather when they all use the same data.

Openweathermap results for where I live are wildly inaccurate, so they can't all be using the same data. ;(

I second this I just started using Openweathermap because Yahoo! Weather is currently broken and I agree that Openweathermap is not very accurate at all.
