I'm running Kodi v. 14.2 on Windows 7x64 SP1. I have an Intel core i7 950 @ 3.07Ghz with 16GB of RAM.I am using Kodi with a MySQL library. The library is stored in a FreeNAS jail. The rest of my media is on the FreeNAS machine. The FreeNAS machine is running version 9.3 of the OS. It has 32GB of RAM with 6 4TB caviar reds. It uses a Intel® Pentium G2030 @ 3.00GHz.
My problem is when I update some data in the NFOs, like ratings from imdb or something, then it is typically not updated in Kodi without removing the file in Kodi and the re-updating the library. This seems to work perfectly for movies. I remove them and then after updating the library they are back with the new information. However, it has not been working for TV shows. If I remove the show, then the library update will not re-load the show. However, I can confirm that if I just remove an episode of the show, then the library update will load an episode removed. However, this is a hassle if I update information in every episode of a show.

I removed the show 666 Park Avenue and then updated the library. It looks like it goes through pretty much every TV show in the database except the one I removed.
I tried to go into the jail and see if there was some issue in the mysql database, but I'm not quite sure what to do look for. I am quite certain that if I remove the media source completely and re-load the whole source, then it will fix the issue. I had done this when I was setting things up again.
I really wish I could just have an option to just scan for updates in nfo files (for a particular movie/show/whatever).
The only other thing I can think of is that I recently re-installed FreeNAS (with a new mysql jail and a new version of Kodi). I haven't quite got the FreeNAS permissions back to how they used to be. I've got read/write/execute access on everything, but I can't seem to change the Windows attributes (like hide and read only from Windows properties). I don't see how that would be a factor, but it's in the back of my head.
