I look forward to trying it.
Even if it is because of bad optimisation it's still a bug, it's not doing the job it's meant to.

Euh... Finaly i've been able to made some test.
MPC-HC + xy-VSFilter behave the same than XBMC : Lag, video late with audio, then video is speed-up to resynch.
VLC handles a little better, it skips the frames to keep video/audio sync. So, only 1 or 2 frames of the subtitles are displayed, when the others (MPC-HC & XBMC) seem to try to display more frames of the subtitles, resulting out of synch.
But none is able to display what expected on the subtitles, and i don't know if finaly there is realy a solution. And maybe i was wrong, and optimisation of libass is not bad. Just too much asked on the subtitles...

I just tried the one jpsdr sent me:
MPC, WMP, Kodi the framerate tanks and skips frames then speeds up to catch up to the audio.
VLC works fine.
CPU usage spikes on all but not enough that it's anywhere near maxing out my system (i7-2600K@4Ghz 4-core+HT)
