Is there any way to record\download (Python Script) internet streams to the xbox HDD, from within XBMC. eg- Google video streams?

I was wondering the same thing. Alternatively, do the scripts store the cached streams in a folder that we could pull off via FTP? How hard is it to add a save to disk function to an existing script? I don't know the first thing about python scripts, but if it's as simple as pasting a few lines into a script, that would be great to know.
