I would like a feature that allows me to rate movies and tv shows, like star rating in music.

I'm a big fan of this idea. I like the idea of having my own ratings instead of ratings from people I don't even know (and probably don't agree with, haha) :D

In the future would be nice if local ratings would be synced to the ratings we have on themoviedb

I agree...I like what I see so far! Am tying the v15 beta and was suprised to see that this option seems to be missing. Mine and my family's ratings are more important to me than stranger ratings.
