Solved video crashing or stuttering when 2 active screens

SOLVED: Testbuild from this post reliably solves it for me.
Thank you, Memphiz!

Recently I discovered a regression that I didn't catch before because it's an unusual scenario for me. As such resolving it is very low priority - at least for me - but the devs might be interested.

I use Kodi on my laptop which connects to the TV over HDMI. Usually when I use it for Kodi I close the lid so the TV becomes the only active screen. But very seldom I want to do something on the Laptop while Kodi plays on the TV and that worked, at least up until the 14.0 betas, which is the last time I tried it, I think.
Now, when the laptop screen is active as well, opening a video usually results in the screen just going black (showing the last state of the debug message when debugging is active) the audio starting to play but stuttering after a few seconds and Kodi not reacting to any input so I have to force quit it. With some files, I think those that have another framerate as my standard 24p, instead the video stutters heavily but Kodi remains responsive so I can quit out of the file again. With others again it works but those are rare (in fact the log is from the only one I found, which is also the only 1080i file I have at the moment).

black screen, stuttering audio, force quit necessary: http://pastebin.com/nvcnJDPd
here's one that stutters: http://pastebin.com/SERMpCrK
and another one stuttering: http://pastebin.com/aqpmYsDJ
this one is fine: http://pastebin.com/6Sg9auXJ

As I said - low priority for me but definitely a regression as it was working perfectly before, at least with 720p/24p files, so with the kind of file that causes the gravest issue now.
maybe you see something in the logs.

Macbook Air 2012, 10.10.3 (was the same in 10.10.2)
Kodi 14.2 (was the same in 14.1, I just didn't post back then because I had a lot to do and no time to test for patterns with files/formats.

I'll give this single/double screen configuration a try with my MacBook Air, to see if this bug is related to my "Adjust display refresh rate / Sync playback" problem on iMac.
