My Kodi videothumbnails are really pixelated.

I tried modifying ~/.kodi/userdata/advancedsettings.xml without success.

I also tried copying it to /usr/share/kodi/userdata and /usr/share/kodi/system

Of course I deleted the Thumbnails folder and the Textures13.db ever time I tried something.

The cached thumbnails in the Thumbnails folder are never bigger than 540px height.

I set the scraper to local and do not have any .nfo or picture files for my videos. The videos I am trying to thumbnail are various anime with 1080p.

That will probably help eventually or now if you compile with that ontop of master.

For using local data you need to have local data, else it will scrape from internet wherever that will be according to scraper used.
