Unsure why , but after upgrading to this build, from old XBMC 4.2.1 i'm finding that 'TVShow' folders (when viewed via VIDEOS/Files/ ) of an all completed and watched episodes show, is not getting a 'watched' tick , even though all the episodes within that folder are watched and ticked. The same show when viewed via VIDEOS/TV Shows/ , lists the full episode count and a tick to indicate all the eps within are watched.

Solved: library database issue.. dropped db and then rescanned library after noting down on paper where each series was watched up to..
