Hello all, just signed up today!

So, I LOVE Kodi! I installed it on my Apple TV and it's just amazing!!

I'm purchasing a Fire TV box for use at my parents cabin this summer and to be honest, I'm really struggling with figuring out the best way to install it. I've read all sorts of things varying from Amazon bricking the box to God only knows what!

I'm hoping someone here can direct me to the current best way to install it without being fried by Amazon. (Yes, I've searched the forums, I guess I just suck)

No one has ever bricked their Fire TV from installing Kodi. Amazon specifically allows people to sideload apps and does not punish users for it.
