Req Option to ignore folder names when scanning for new content

Hello,

I have a clear folder structure defined on my NAS server as I access it also from other places than XBMC-Kodi. The structure looks like this ([folder-name] = folder):

Code:
[Movies]
  [Comedy]
    [Movie-name-with-some-other-information]
      Movie-name-(year).avi
      Movie-name-(year).srt
      Other-file.ext
    [Another-movie-name-DVDrip]
      Movie-name-(year).avi
    [Movie-collection-name]
      [Movie-name-1-from-collection]
        Movie-name-(year).avi
      [Movie-name-2-from-collection]
        Movie-name-(year).avi
      [Movie-name-3-from-collection]
        Movie-name-(year).avi
  [Sci-Fi]
    [Movie-name-with-some-other-information]
      Movie-name-(year).avi
      Movie-name-(year).srt
      Other-file.ext
[TV Shows]
  [Vikings]
    [s1]
      Vikings-s01e01.avi
      Vikings-s01e01.srt
      Vikings-s01e02.avi
      Vikings-s01e02.srt
      Vikings-s01e03.avi
      Vikings-s01e03.srt
      ...
    [s2]
      Vikings-s02e01.avi
      Vikings-s02e01.srt
      Vikings-s02e02.avi
      Vikings-s02e02.srt
      Vikings-s02e03.avi
      Vikings-s02e03.srt
      ...
    [s3]
      ...
  [Game-of-Thrones]
    [s1]
      ...
    [s2]
      ...

When I do a Library Update on 500 GB HDD it takes ages (10+ minutes). I believe the problem is that XBMC-Kodi is trying to find information about every [folder-name] as it thinks it may be another movie - although the informations about movies are also in the movie files itself - movie-name-(year).avi.

For me it would be perfect to be able to tell Kodi, that I don't want to scan folder names, just get all the files (even from subdirectories) and then try to resolve those.

Thanks for considering!

Uncheck "movies are in folders named after the movies" and it will do that. However, I don't think it will make your scan any faster.
