Channel Group not properly detected by serverwmc

I've been using serverwmc for a few months now, and it's fantastic. Thanks to the devs for freeing me from xbox extenders!

I just recently got an Intel NUC to serve as my WMC backend, running windows 7. Live TV is working fine, and I can watch on my Kodi clients. The problem I'm having is this: I created a channel group in WMC, but serverwmc ignores it as an "empty group." The group has about 80 channels chosen, and it is the only group that I've created. Any idea why serverwmc has declared it empty?

Hi,

I also can't tell why it thinks it's empty. Maybe more detail will help, in the settings file of swmc (see debug tab) search for:
Debug_ChannelDetail and Debug_AllChannelDetail

and change them both from false to true Then save the settings file and restart swmc. Then post this new log.

Looking at the detailed log it seems like everything is working OK. The following groups are detected:

2015/05/02 21:44:03.457 ChannelGroup> Name: Most Viewed TotalChannels: 0 ValidChannels: 0
2015/05/02 21:44:03.457 ChannelGroup> Name: CJS TotalChannels: 96 ValidChannels: 96

Which is summarised as:

2015/05/02 21:44:03.473 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Channel Groups> Found: 1
2015/05/02 21:44:03.473 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Ignored Channel Groups> Blocked in WMC: 0, Empty groups: 1


Perhaps a little misleadin as we should probably say Found 2, Valid 1, Ignored 1


But anyway, I think it is all working OK from ServerWMC perspective? If you arent seeing the channel group in Kodi you could maybe try resetting PVR database

what skin are you using in Kodi? You sure it supports channel groups? If you arent using Confluence already, swap to it just to confirm
