Playback Failed

I am not able to get Kodi to play music. It has worked fine until turning on my computer and trying to use Kodi today. When I attempt to play a song or album I get the following message:

"Playback failed
One or more items failed to play."

I am running:
Kodi 14.1 (Git:38e4046)
Ubuntu14.04.2 LTS - Linux x86 32-bit version 3.13.0-46-generic

Here are the log files:

Your debug kodi.log: http://xbmclogs.com/plevkbvqs
Your XBMC crashlog: http://xbmclogs.com/pr2l2bbmo

I have rebooted my computer and still get the same error when selecting a song to play.

Your Kodi Version is a bit outdated. Try to upgrade to 14.2 and report back if the problem persists.

Try to play directly from the "Files" menu, skipping the DB. Does this produce something else?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Try to do

Code:
mv ~/.kodi ~/kodi-bak
and try again.

What? Nix your entire setup including the music DB?

Yeah right, good idea.

It is, when you consider that he has installed a XBMC 12.1 borked from debian previously to installing the proper Kodi, which can cause untold amount of issues just by upgrading it alone.

Look at both logs on first post, then consider your comment and if you still feel you are justified, then please make a better suggestion to quickly troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Well my suggestion is more a catch all. In fact the best one is to do

Code:
mv ~/.xbmc ~/xbmc-bak
mv ~/.kodi ~/kodi-bak

Because the crap fro xbmc debian crapified is at fault and was imported into kodi.
