I just installed v15 on my Fire TV. Shouldn't the artwork be automatic? I setup a uPnP connection to my videos on my Synology NAS. Will it not scrap with that connection method?

If there's a better way to connect a DLNA device or network share I'm open to suggestions. I'd love some help getting the artwork going.

Kodi's internal library currently doesn't add artwork for UPnP/DLNA connections unless the UPnP/DLNA server provides artwork in a format that Kodi understands.

What you probably want can be done with another file sharing protocol, such as NFS (wiki) or SMB (wiki).

Then you want to follow this: adding videos to the library (wiki).

Thanks Ned! I switched it over to SMB and was then prompted with the art dialog after saving the source. Makes perfect sense now.
