Linux video lag issue
#1
kodi 14.2 on ubuntu 14.04, i3-2335 for gpu

When playing video, it will pause for a fraction of a second then continue, which appears like a judder, or jerky.
Many weeks of reading and changing parameters in Kodi would sometime appear to fix the issue, but it kept coming back.

Exiting and restarting Kodi, does not fix the problem, however a reboot of the server does.
I imagine this is something in ubuntu I need to look at, but as it appears through Kodi, I thought someone else may have experienced this.
It seems to take a day or two of uptime before this occurs.

Any advice appreciated.

I think I can't help much, but a Debug Log while this happens is needed in this case

Remove myth and post another Debug Log
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

How should that work? Turn off "Sync Playback to Display" completely and retry.
