Since I have been using Kodi, there is one design choice I don't understand.
Why is the user asked to select a content type when adding a source? It would seem pretty straightforward to set the content type based on file extension then add the items in the corresponding database.
I suppose there is a good reason behind this, but I am wondering if it would be useful / suitable to have an "auto" setting when selecting a source, that makes kodi auto categorize scanned items?
