Is it possible to use 3D fonts
#1
Hi,

as the subject states, can 3D fonts be used in Kodi? I've placed the relevant .ttf in my /fonts and updated fonts.xml with a new font and asisgned in a view but it just seems to be using the fallback?

Thanks

3d fonts ?

Are you talking about normal fonts that seem to be 3d or about some special format that is rendered in 3d ?

i can't think of a reason why it shouldn't work.
also, i there's no such thing as a 'fallback' for fonts afaik.

pastebin your code, so we can check if there's an error somewhere.

Thanks Ronie & Kib for your time and replies. I must have done something wrong as it's working now.
