Hello,

i have installed OpenElec 6. Everything works fine excepts the scan of my music library which is stored in a shared samba drive.

It scans but only albums added after OpenElec installation are shown! All others albums are not taken.
Indeed, after OE was installed, i added 4 new albums on my harddrive which contains 1000 ones-> I start a scan -> Only these 4 are stored in the database

What's wrong?

My guess would be a permission problem, and OpenELEC can only read the 4 new albums. Look in your kodi.log for errors. Check if the permissions on all the albums - old and new - are the same.

Upload a debug log of the music scan if you're still having a problem.

I change Samba to FTP and it works! Strange...
