Totally noob, and my question might not be Kodi's problem, so forgive my stupid question!
I'm using Yosemite 10.10.4 and was using Kodi 14.2, but just installed Kodi 15 (to see if my problem still happens).
Basically when I associate files to open with Kodi (such as MKV, RMVB, AVI etc) the file icon just becomes a blank white sheet of paper (the one with the fold at the right hand corner).
Even if I change the file type to permanently open with other applications after I changed to Kodi, (such as VLC), it will forever remain as the blank sheet of paper. (Annoying!)
Is this a problem with Kodi and the icon files or is it something to do with the OS?
