Planned API changes for Series Recordings
Sounds good to me, I'm not generally a big fan of confirmation dialogs anyway.

I will find better wording for the confirmation dialog.

Thanks to everybody involved for fixing the padding issue and the timer deletion problem.

I am seeing something weird with the guide view in the last few nightlies I have tried (confluence skin). If you select a program that is in progress and set it to record, the red recording dot turns on in the program tile in the guide when the recording begins. But if I then manually stop the recording - either in guide view or by deleting the timer in the timer list - the red recording dot stays on the program tile, even though all other indicators in kodi say that the recording has stopped. I can even restart kodi and the red dot is still there. I can make the dot disappear only by deleting the corresponding recording from the disk. I figured this was a bug in our addon/backend software but I can't find anything there that is out of place. This doesn't happen all the time, but most of the time it does.

Just a guess, but I think maybe what is happening is the dot is supposed to turn into a 'play' triangle when the recording stops, but it's not happening. That would explain why deleting the recording fixes the problem.

Thanks for reporting this. I will take a look. But, please, next time do not "misuse" this thread for things that are definitely not related to thread's topic.

Thanks. And I'll be more careful about my posts here.

Hi Ksooo, Janbar, Metaron,

Just a ‘nice to have’ request to allow the naming/creation of a Myth recording group from Kodi. This would involve the API, GUI & Myth PVR Client.

This pretty well would make my add-on totally redundant for me. My philosophy is to be able to do everything within Kodi with a remote control. Not because I’m lazy!

I have implemented this in my Myth PVR Schedules add-on by the user clicking on a specific item “<Add new group>” within a one item scrollable list, this then brings up the keyboard. The new group is then appended to the list and the Myth recording rule updated.

The recording group list is populated from the backend and going even further, with add-on settings I added the option to create a static set of groups to always be appended to this list to choose from.

Really appreciate the great work. – The previous showings list of timers along with the parent timer made me run away and create my own add-on. Now you have fixed this with a stroke of genius within the same list space.

If you would like to take a look at my add-on to see this (version 0.2.0): https://github.com/steve-carreck/Myth-PVR-Schedules

@ksooo, I have to ask! Why does your alias have a variable number of o's? - Your patience indicator Wink
