I'm actually trying to find out the way to load a simple HTTP stream when launching a specific video. Is that possible ?

Example :

Launching video -----> Show video on the screen

| (Background)
|
---> Load the HTTP page http://example/page.php

No, it's for internal process. I've some servers running at home, and what I'm trying is to send an HTTP request (To load a PHP script for some task in the house, managed by this servers) when I launch this specific video.

There are various home control addons that perform actions when a video is played. The Philips hue addon is one I use. Basically you write a service addon that looks for play events.
