server: running Kodi 14.2 on openSUSE 13.2 64bit
client: Sumsung S5 phone using airwire and upnplayer
using netstat I determined proper ports to open but it did not help so disabled firewall and phone still did not see Kodi. Tried 2 different uupnp clients (upnpplayer and airwire)
the clients work because I set up Kodi on my Windows 8 laptop and Kodi showed in the list of servers
Searching seems to always come back to the firewall but as I said I tried disabling it.
I'm clueless when it comes to networking and such so any help is appreciated.
