I know a few users have been looking for a good way to integrate subsonic (subsonic.org) with Kodi. Solutions in the past haven't worked very seamlessly. If you don't mind using an iphone or ipad to control your music collection an add on for the avSub app may allow Sonos like features for your home network.

By adding a .jar file to your media center you can enable audio satellites to your subsonic server.
My question is could an add-on for Kodi easily be created so that I wouldn't have to exit out of kodi to enable a subsonic satellite on my HTPC? Or can a .jar file easily be run from within the Kodi environment?
Any thoughts?
