I have updated my NFO files and one thing I updated was set the 'Watched' parameter in a lot of my movies. I then removed the folder from my Files/Library and got Kodi to reload the folder. But Kodi has obviously not reread the NFO files as the 'Watched' field has not been updated. Also if I display the movie details and click the Refresh button, this is also not rereading the NFO file.

What do I need to do to get Kodi to reread my NFO files?

Did you instruct Kodi to read this flag from NFOs?
per default it is not the case...

Thanks Myron. Added a advancedsettings.xml file with Watched set to True and problem solved.
