Hi everyone,
My apologies for this as it is most probably something simple.
I have just cleaned an old laptop (back to factory settings) and it is using windows 7 home premium, the laptop is only about three years old (asus).
I have loaded Kodi and everything is fine until it starts to play something. The sound comes on but the screen is blank. I can see the control bar on the bottom (play, pause etc.) and if I click on the X in the top right hand corner, the picture appears but menu stays above it and the movie jacket.
Hope it is a simple solution and thank you in advance.
