Win Saving The Kodi file names in windows explorer
#1
Hello,

I have a variety of Blu-ray DVD rips and downloads from a variety of sites. As a result, my file naming is awful. I use kodi a lot and it automatically names my files so they have all the information.

However, in windows explorer, this is not the case. I either need to use a different tool or replace the file names with the kodi ones.

For example, Films appearing with the name followed by the date in brackets e.g. The Godfather (1972) and TV Shows appearing with the show name, episode number and finally episode title e.g. The IT Crowd- S04E02- The Final Countdown.

I have no idea if this is possible using kodi, if it isn't i'll need an alternative solution. However, my previous attempts to find a program have been futile. I tried to use TVrenamer which didn't work and the same problem with FileBot.

Many Thanks,
Callum
