I'd like to split out my TV Show collectiosn into Current and Ended.

Ideally I'd want a second "TV Shows" menu item for shows that have been discontinued. These shows are already nested in a separate folder structure.

Is this possible?

You just need to create a playlist that includes/excludes the relevant folders: http://kodi.wiki/view/smart_playlists

Then you swap out the link on the menu to call the playlist - although this only works on some skins such as Aeon Nox. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=76717

Thanks - that looks do what i'm after though I can't get the "PATH" filter to work.

Other filters work like "treehouse" against Simpsons TV show titles, but not "PATH" is, contains, starts with= O:\OLDTV

Any ideas why?

you should use path contains or starts with.

There should also be a way to filter in show status so you could filter on "ended" or something. That way you don't have to move the shows and keep your watched status. Another option would be to add the tag "OLD" and filter on that.
