Hi there,
My "Live-TV" isn't working properly.
The video-stream stutters after a few seconds and i can see the buffering window with 5%, 17%, 52%, .... and so on.
Then the video stream is working for antoher seconds and the shit repeats
On HD-channels it stutters more than on SD-channels.

Using WMC-frontend all is fine.


What can I do?

so this is all running locally on the same box? What is the hardware? Have you tried changing hardware acceleration in Kodi (eg if it is currently on, try it off and vice versa)?

If you post a ServerWMC log we can have a look to see if anything obvious is happening. Potentially a kodi client side debug log would also be good, although we arent as good at interpretting those, something glaringly obvious may jump out...

Same here, i have been using serverwmc for some time and while in MC playback was ok, in kodi was not.

So i got rid of this.

Tried several alternatives. Cos after 8 years with him, i want to get rid of MC also cos is discontinued.

I tried argus, tremendous piece of shit for configuration.

I tried mediaportal, which always hated cos so many frustrated attemps to use it in the past and..... surprise! It works like a charm.

I even found easy to cfg. Is ugly, but after trying others, now is not the worse.

Now i can definitely say goodbye to WMC. It was nice, but is over.
