I'm a serverWMC/Kodi newbie but just love all the work that's gone into this project, amazing, thank you !!

One question

Is it possible to get a random frame, thumbed? from the recorded TV show and send it the the Kodi skin so we can get a visual impression of what's been recorded?

Like recorded TV in WMC7 ?

Serverwmc doesn't currently do this itself. It has been a while since I looked, but I think kodi will do it automatically. To make it work you have to tell serverwmc to ignore the tv program image it finds in the epg database, when it doesn't send this to kodi, kodi makes its own thumbnails (I think). See 'Display Options' tab in serverwmc.
