hi guys, can you help?

i just installed the latest kodi 14.2 and enabled PVR WMC add on.

i configured it but it is not working. i do have a functioning WMC on the same PC.

here's the log, it complains of Connection refused, winsock error 10061. i tried running kodi as admin, it made no difference. i tried using the hostname & ip, no difference.

ive done my best to look on the forums here, the wiki and on google but i am not finding any similar cases. it seems to me like an easy thing to fix once you know...

Did you install - and have running - serverwmc?

ah! no. see? i knew it was an easy fix. but now i did and it is working.

funny how it wasn't mentionned anywhere it had to be installed. from kodi i simply installed the plugin and expected it to work. the wiki page didn't mention ServerWMC either. personally, i thought ServerWMC referred to the WMC service itself.
