Search by username incorrect
#1
I like to watch threads where I posted something and to find all I grow accustomed to search for my own name like "Razze"
But some threads are not showing up, can't figure out why.

For e.g. these:
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=228877
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=228435

I responded on both and they're not shown in my search results

If you are using the 'search for keyword' it will not always work - your username is not a keyword per se.

Click on your own name, then click on your posts. That is a much more accurate way top search than using a text indexer.

eg http://forum.kodi.tv/search.php?action=f...uid=246482

I'm not using search for keyword I'm using the 'search by username' on the right side

And I don't really like the one you linked, duplicate entries as its post based Sad

Well it is, but I find it's more convinient to track them without having to remember to subscribe
Edit: Have just seen the "Subscribe to" on the full post page, well then I will have to stop using the quick reply

in the lower right corner of each thread should be a link list with:
- view printable version
- send this thread to a friend
- subscribe to this thread

the last one is what you're looking for - no need to use the full reply form or reply at all Wink

Yeah, sure (btw you mean the left) but it's something I would have to remember to do and also it takes you to a side where you first have to choose and then send that off again.

As of now I'm still using the search as developers are lazy and I don't really want to go through each topic I have posted in so far and subscribe to them by hand.

You can change preferences to subscribe to threads automatically whenever you post in that thread.
